TAWAU, The Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Sri Tanjong will continue to do community work for the public not as a gimmick to attract the heart of Sabahan but to fulfill their obligation to serve in the best interest of Malaysian residing here.

Sri Tanjong PBS chief Fung Len Fui stated that the party will remain strong in their effort in this respect to continue to remain relevant to the general public in the district as stated by the party’s aim of helping Sabahan.

Fung said this during a community service work in cleaning and beautifying a garden located at the Aokam centre for the deaf and slow learner managed by district Deaf and Dumb Society recently as they deemed the project as important and benefited the general public.

`This is the kind of service which mirrored our party’s struggle as we want to ensure that a clean garden will make a more productive students studying there’, he stated over the school which has some 40 students.

He also said the party had also conduct another community service at Rawa-Rawa village located at mile 4, Apas road here, which is yet another of their aim to provide such services in clearing up rubbish surrounding the village.

Adding that the party will not abandon the district despite losing the sole Sri Tanjong seat in the recent election but will continue to strife in line with the vision of the party.
